Team & Youth Fundraising

The season ends.
The donors don’t have to.

Every team platform runs the same four weeks: roster, texts, pages, leaderboards, money, done. Then the donors evaporate and next August starts from zero. We run the same four weeks, then break the ceiling: every donor’s checkout ends with one question, and the aunt who gave $25 to Jake’s season becomes a card-linked supporter of the program all year.

The four weeks, done right.

A coach or troop leader builds the campaign in minutes. Parents enroll their participant from a link, a text, or the QR at the team meeting: parent account first, kid’s profile under it, exactly the way the law requires. Then launch day sends the text that wins the category.

Week one
The launch text
“Jake is raising for Eastside Lacrosse. Tap to support him.” Every contact lands on Jake’s own page: his photo, his goal bar, one-tap giving.
Week two
The leaderboard war
Attack versus defense raises $2,300 by itself. Squads rank live, milestones celebrate, and re-asks and thank-yous run themselves.
Week three
Spirit night
No flyers, no manager tally. Linked cards attribute automatically at the pizzeria and the thermometer rises mid-meal, while new families link at the table QR.
Week four
The storefront
Every kid gets a digital storefront. Direct-ship product on cards, zero cash, zero cases in the minivan, and the receipt splits gift from purchase honestly.

Pledge-per-performance too: $2 per lap with a $40 cap, settled only after verified counts, on the same no-overpull discipline as everything else. Fun runs, a-thons, per-stat pledges: one mechanic, many skins.

The stuff you sold in the nineties, retired.

Every parent remembers the kitchen counter: the coupon book, the candy case, the pizza card, the order form for wrapping paper nobody wanted. All of it existed to solve one problem, getting money from a community to a team, and all of it is replaced by a card on file.

The coupon book, gone digital

The printed discount book becomes the merchant network: local businesses give back on every linked-card visit, all season, with no book to print, sell, or lose in the junk drawer. The discount still exists. Now it gives.

No more door to door

Kids never sell candy bars to strangers again. The launch text reaches the people who already love them, the storefront ships direct, and the incentive that used to be a prize table is now sponsor-funded: link a card during the campaign and the reward ships to your door.

The pizza program, reborn

The read-a-book, earn-a-pizza programs of years ago run natively here: a sponsor funds the reward, the milestone triggers it, and the family’s linked card keeps giving to the program long after the pizza is gone.

The wrapping paper, unwrapped

Catalog fundraisers with cases in the minivan become per-kid digital storefronts: real product, direct-shipped, zero inventory, zero cash envelopes, and the receipt splits gift from purchase honestly.

The incentive moved to where it matters. The old prize table rewarded selling. The new one rewards the thing that actually funds the program: cards on file. Sponsors stock the rewards, milestones trigger them, and every card linked during the campaign gives all year.

Then the part nobody else can do.

Every checkout, donation, product, pledge, or spirit night add-on, ends the same way: “Jake’s season ends. Your support doesn’t have to. Link a card and give your change to Eastside Lacrosse all year.”

Every
August starts above where the last one ended. The compounding no incumbent’s model can produce.

Compliance is the architecture, not an afterthought. Parent-managed accounts for every minor, participant-initiated sharing with opt-outs honored everywhere, school and district approval workflows, and booster clubs onboarded with the fiscal structure they actually have.

The whole school year

The team that came for the fall drive runs four streams by spring.

The fall campaign, the winter storefront, the spring golf outing on golfr., the banquet with its auction on padl., the lawful 50/50 on draw. Sponsor match windows double a campaign week, employer matching claims the money parents’ companies already offer, and every stream lands typed in one ledger the treasurer can finally trust.

More of what Grandma gives reaches the team. Say it at the team meeting. Watch what happens.
