The architecture

causefi. is the Cause Financial Infrastructure company, and the thing it builds is a rail: one processing layer that every giving action flows through, with other products running on top of it. What FinTech did for banking, causefi. does for causes. Payments, participation, data and settlement, all through one rail, into one ledger, on one payout. We named the category. Now we are the category.

The causefi. platform: the subscription, the login, the contract, the invoice, the surface a team says they use. Every application lives inside it, and every dollar it touches settles through the rail underneath. causefi. includes donr.

No, and that is the point of the whole design. A vendor sells a tool and disappears until renewal. causefi. builds a partnership: a dedicated Success Advocate from the first conversation through go-live and beyond, one flat fee instead of a stack of vendor invoices, and your data jointly owned and exportable any time. Your growth is the business model, because the fee only moves when your funding does.

No. The database of causes is searchable by anyone on the Find An Organization page and the homepage: pick a cause area, start typing, and select your cause to see who they are, what they do, and where they are. The full story and giving open with a free causefi. account in donr., and the organization you picked follows you into signup.

Rewards through earnd. If you know somebody at an organization, send the referral from its search result with your contact and theirs. Our team reaches out, and when the organization joins the rail the referral earns you earnd. points, attached to the email you gave.

donr. is the payment core of the platform, an application on causefi. Every dollar flows through it: round-ups, one-time and recurring gifts, event tickets, auction wins, raffle sales, sponsor give back, and the employer match all process and settle through donr. Its flagship is the card-linked round-up: Smart Sweep gathers the forgotten change on everyday purchases in one clean charge. Every other application runs on donr. for money and trak. for the record.

causefi. is the company, the rail, and the platform: one name at every layer. The rail is the financial infrastructure everything runs on. The platform is what an organization subscribes to: the login, the contract, the invoice. The applications are the surfaces people open, built around two cores: donr. moves every dollar and trak. keeps every record, with door., padl., draw., earnd., golfr., amp., and txt. running on both. And causefi. meets every world as its own cause area, which is how we go to market: one cause area at a time. The cause area always follows the word for, as in causefi. for sports.

At enterprise scale, yes. The white label tier renders the entire supporter and admin experience in your brand on your own domain, with national, region, and chapter hierarchy, enterprise SSO, and SLAs, all on the one shared platform core. It is a sales-led, negotiated purchase, and the standard branded experience serves everyone below that scale. See the White Label page.

A supporter links a card they already carry. Every purchase rounds up. A sponsor gives back on the behavior. The organization gets paid. Then it happens again, this week, next week, without a single ask. On a $21.20 purchase the round-up is $0.80, the 10 percent give back adds $2.12, and the organization receives $2.92: 265 percent more per swipe than the round-up alone.

One flat fee, competitive with the platforms you already know, and it buys the entire platform. The license fee is waived, payment processing is included, donr., trak., txt., earnd., and amp. are always included in every package, and every core feature ships in the box: Smart Sweep, give back, matching, dashboards, the directory, and the tax truth. No stacked vendors, no hidden fees, no surprise line items, and the exact schedule lives on your order form, reviewed together before you sign.

Every platform feature that is not a standalone application: Smart Sweep, sponsor give back, employer matching, the dashboards, the directory, tax documentation, all of it, at no additional cost. The standalone applications, the events system, the golf outing and tournament system, and the auction system, are separate products with their own order form and fees, so you only ever pay for the rooms you actually use.

Monthly, automatically, and with the invoice in your hands first. Fees for a month are due five days after month end and are withdrawn by ACH on the fifth day, or the next business day, with an invoice sent before or on the day of the debit. Banking details for the debit are collected securely, and any identity-verification data a payment relationship requires is collected directly by the payment provider, never stored by us.

A dedicated Success Advocate carries you from signup through go-live: onboarding, marketing readiness, launch templates, QR codes, and the launch playbook, with integration support the whole way. You keep sole control of your programs throughout.

To actually promote the program, because a rail with no traffic helps nobody. The agreement asks you to market your card-linked giving program and maintain an enrollment landing page with a clear call to action. We supply the templates, the QR codes, and the launch playbook, so the commitment is real but never heavy.

Published online, on this site, where you can read them any time before and after signing. The order form you sign incorporates the platform terms by reference, the posted version carries its effective date, and continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance. Review them on the Terms of Use page.

Nine worlds causefi. meets on their own terms: sports, health, ministry, community, legacy, education, conservation, animals, and military. Each one is causefi. meeting its world on that world’s own terms, and that is how we go to market: one cause area at a time. The cause area always follows the word for, as in causefi. for sports.

Wherever your team is today. Small causes start Standard with no license fee and a streamlined signup that collects everything upfront, growing causes run Standard deeper with the development engine turned on, and national causes design an enterprise build under their own flag. The pricing page opens all three doors on the same published schedule, and growth never requires a migration.

For supporters

Every eligible purchase on your linked card rounds up to the next dollar and pools per card. Spend $99.20 and the transaction rounds to $100, with $0.80 set aside for your cause. Nothing is charged in the moment. Smart Sweep then gathers your forgotten change in one clean charge, on settled transactions only, never an overpull. The average card generates about $30 a month in round-ups alone.

Completely. Caps, cadence, and pause are yours from day one, always one tap away, and you can change your cause anytime from your dashboard. You can link many cards, back several organizations, and set how the giving splits between them.

Yes. causefi. is a Visa and Mastercard approved financial partner, card linking uses bank-grade security, and it happens inside your secure dashboard. We never collect card details by email or by form.

Every US tax-exempt organization is in the directory from day one, 1.7 million of them, seeded from public IRS data. Type, and the universe narrows live. If your organization is live, you give in one tap. If it is not live yet, you give anyway and we deliver the donation on your behalf. If it is not in the files, the one-minute submission covers new nonprofits and fiscally sponsored projects.

Give to the cause area itself. Pick animals, or veterans, or youth sports, and your giving is allocated to vetted organizations doing that work under a published allocation policy: verified organizations only, no pay-to-play, and you see exactly which organizations received your funds, when, and how much. Any allocation can become a direct relationship in one tap.

Yes. Give-anywhere delivers your gift on your behalf: we verify the organization, reach out, and you follow the journey like a package. The gift shows in your dashboard and tax paper like any other, and you can even run your round-up program for them, with causefi. sending the donation. If they cannot be reached within the window, you choose where the gift goes instead, and your gift is often the reason an organization joins.

The permanent tier of recognition. Founding cohort marks that can only be minted while the window is open, lifetime giving milestones you can display as impact equivalents instead of dollar amounts, anniversary marks, organization-awarded honors, and memorial tributes. They never expire, never devalue, and the ones that matter most arrive as real keepsakes: the founding coin, the decade pin. Never for sale, only earned, and visibility is always your choice.

earnd. is the rewards program of the platform, with the marketplace inside it. Every dollar you give earns points on every stream, and so does every qualifying swipe of a linked card, the way hotels reward stays and airlines reward miles, with points aggregating across every cause you support. Levels run Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Elite, earned by your total annual giving across all your causes, and higher levels multiply the earning up to double points while adding drawing entries and exclusive perks. Points become rewards from partner retailers in the marketplace, and can even convert into real donation dollars for your cause, funded by sponsors, never touching your giving totals or tax documentation. Points never expire, never cash out, and never buy chance. Specific rewards, values, levels, and structures vary by program.

That is the whole design. Name each card what you call it, Personal Visa, Business Mastercard, and point each at its own cause. Each card gives in its own lane, is charged only for its own round-ups, shows on its own statement, and gets its own line in your tax documentation. Personal and business never mix, and you can move a card to a new cause instantly without losing any history.

Yes, and it unlocks the tightest loop on the platform: card detects, bank pays. Your card keeps sensing round-ups, and an optional linked bank account funds them in one small automatic pull, so your giving never has to ride the card itself. Opt-in, pausable, settled transactions only, never an overpull, and your cap still governs everything.

Donating appreciated crypto held more than a year skips capital gains tax entirely and deducts at fair market value, which is why it is the most tax-efficient gift most people can make. A licensed processor converts it to dollars immediately, we never hold coins or keys, the organization receives dollars, always, and the receipt describes the asset exactly the way property-gift rules require.

Yes. Tribute giving creates a page in their name, gathers gifts in their honor or memory, and lets anyone link a card and give their round-ups in that name, so the everyday coffee keeps a memory moving. Every tribute gift is typed and receipted like any other, and memorial legacy badges are held forever. See the Tribute Giving page.

Not after the first minute. Create your account once and secure it with a passkey, then sign in with your face or fingerprint on every surface: web, Apple, and Android. And if you filled out a Fit Check anywhere on this site, your details carry into signup automatically, so nothing is typed twice.

For organizations

No, and it is not trying to. The sector’s dominant CRM answers how nonprofits manage the donors they already have. causefi. answers how nonprofits create donor activity that did not exist. We work alongside your stack and generate more volume for the systems you already own.

They keep giving exactly as they do today, nothing is disrupted. The difference is that the cards you already hold join the always-on loop too: round-ups gathered by Smart Sweep, sponsor give back on everyday spend, all inside one total alongside the giving they already scheduled.

The average card on file generates about $30 a month in round-ups before a single sponsor dollar or employer match is counted. A thousand linked cards is roughly $30,000 a month of new giving, and our side-by-side projection shows what the full stack can do to an annual total. See the bigger picture on the For Organizations page.

More than you can count on two hands, and always growing: round-ups, sponsor give back, employer matching, events and ticketing, ambassador and team fundraising, one-time gifts, recurring giving, power-ups, merchant rewards, marketplace, auctions, raffles, golf outings, and crypto gifts. Every one settles through the same rail, into the same ledger, on the same payout.

Sign up as an organization and submit your application: your mission, your cause area, your numbers. From the moment you submit, a dedicated Success Advocate assists you through review, onboarding, integration, and launch. Nothing you run today stops running.

That is its own application. Roster campaigns give a coach a nine-minute setup, parents a two-minute enrollment, every kid a personal page and a launch text to their own contacts, live leaderboards, spirit nights on card-linked attribution, digital storefronts instead of candy boxes, and pledge-per-performance drives. And every donor checkout ends with the question no team platform asks: keep supporting the program all year. See the Team and Youth Fundraising page.

Yes, and the receipt is always right. Every dollar is typed the moment it moves: gift, ticket, auction value, chance, property. Fair market value splits from generosity automatically at the auction close, the raffle ticket never masquerades as a deduction, and the crypto gift is described as the asset it was. The supporter’s year rolls up per card, per organization, monthly and annually.

Yes, and it is where the rail shows off: match windows funded before they run, live leaderboards with ambassador attribution, txt. countdown and power-hour journeys, and the conversion nobody else has, donors leaving card-linked for the year after midnight. See the Giving Days page.

Your answers go straight to a dedicated Success Advocate, tagged, so the first conversation starts where your answers left off. And nothing waits on the call: everything you told us carries into signup automatically, with a passkey instead of a password, so your Success Advocate can turn the platform on without asking anything twice.

For sponsors and employers

Yes, and they should be. Sponsor products power the moments money cannot: the card-link gift that puts a card on file during a campaign window, the giving-goal reward that ships when a supporter hits a milestone, marketplace stock redeemed with points, and the quarterly drawing’s grand prize. Organizations place approved products into their own campaigns from the builder, always with your approval, your brand credit, and attribution down to the outcome.

A supporter links an everyday card and names their organization. When that card is used at your store, you give back a set percentage, 5 to 15 by agreement with 10 the average, and it routes straight to that organization, not a pool. Zero cost to the supporter, no coupon, no price change, and it stacks with the round-up and the match.

2,500 linked cards at $200 average monthly spend with a 10 percent give back is $50,000 a month to their organizations, $600,000 a year, illustrative. The calculator on the For Sponsors page runs your own numbers.

They choose. You match. It sweeps monthly. Your employees each pick the cause they love. You define the match and the monthly cap per employee, and their giving is matched automatically as it happens. Once a month, one sweep delivers everything. No portals, no forms, nothing left unclaimed, out of a pool where $4 to $7 billion goes unclaimed every year.

Hard metrics, monthly. Sponsors see spend, transactions, and dollars generated, attributed to the transaction, with impact by cause area. Employers see participation by team, causes chosen, dollars matched, and delivered. Both get numbers strong enough to hand straight to a board.

No. Category exclusivity inside a cause area means one sponsor per category. Your give back is yours.

One itemized invoice at month end covering everything you fund, give back by organization, matches, campaigns, and placements, then one scheduled ACH draft you authorized in advance. You set your own monthly cap with alerts at 80 and 100 percent, charitable funding is documented separately from commercial fees, and organizations are settled only on money that has cleared.

Yes. The sponsor dashboard is a campaign builder: compose give-back rates, match windows, double-point days, challenge pools, and flash deals with the rates, caps, and windows you choose. Every campaign is funded before it runs and hard-stops at your budget, and anything touching an organization’s donors runs only with that organization’s approval.
